Crimzon Lake Press Release |
Crimzon Lake, a new dynamic band made up with experienced and accomplished musicians. A large repertoire of original songs with a fundamentally heavy feel. No two songs are the same, different and creative beats, styles and sounds make the band not only exciting but interesting to listen to. The material is heavy with feel, lots of space for the various fills to shine, not overplayed. Guilty, is one track that is dark and heavy, it grows into a crescendo and takes you along with it as do most of the bands material. You don’t need a gun, is at the opposite end, it is an instrumentally brilliant song with a great melody line and a strong chorus. Lots of highs and lows. The band is currently recording with enough material for two albums. The recordings are close to completion with a great deal of interest from South America, England and Europe, including Russia. Front man vocalist is Paul Mario Day. Paul began his career singing for Iron Maiden, Wildfire, More and The Sweet before settling in Australia. |
Crimzon Lakes style is perfectly suited for Paul’s vocals, it the kind of voice that gives you goose bumps. John McFadyen is the guitarist, also supporting vocals. A musical genius, he not only plays the most complex and difficult riffs, but plays them with consummate ease. John doesn’t overplay, he allows the songs to breath, something rare in guitarists. Tony Hobson is the bassist and backing vocalist. A player who likes a huge sound and knows how to get the most out of every song. Mostly moving bass lines but keeps it straight when required. Mark playing adds to the dynamics of the band. |
